No Reason to Sing the Blues at Deep River

by John Kuhn Bleimaier

When it comes to the world of the classic smoothbore
Most assuredly less can never be more.
Any vintage enthusiast must freely confess
A hammer gun has more macho than one that is hammerless.
The old-time shotgun aficionado unquestionably knows
That the best place for the strikers is open and exposed.
So, once again at Deep River in the year two thousand and eight
Team "Elsie" whooped Parker in the competition that really does rate!
